Kim is a Miami, FL native from parents of Nicaraguan descent. She moved to Gastonia, NC in 2018 and received her BS in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC at Chapel hill in 2017 and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Western Carolina University in 2022. Starting fresh in her career, she is excited to be in the orthopedic setting. She recently received a Vestibular Certification from Duke-Emory, Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Competency-Based Course, to help our patients that complain of dizziness.
She hopes to be an advocate for her patients and hopes to bring in a more diverse crowd to the clinic. Spanish being her first language, she is joyous to provide skilled PT to those of Latin in origin whom are fully Spanish speaking.
Outside of clinic, Kim is out with friends and family, enjoying play time with her dog Koda and cat Kai, being outdoors hiking, reading, and maybe binge watching a new show.
“A mis Latinos, vengan a la clinica sin pena y dejeme ayudarlos lo mas que yo pueda!”
