Myka graduated from Winston-Salem State University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy before he completed all coursework for the pelvic floor certification track with the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments to further her ability to evaluate and treat pelvic conditions specifically. She has treated a variety of conditions, but specializes in pelvic health rehabilitation including bowel and bladder conditions, pelvic pain of all types, and pregnancy-related concerns, among other issues. She has a strong focus on patient education and functional strengthening to assist patients of all gender identities improve their quality of life. She focuses specifically on things that matter most to her patients in their goals and recovery to make the most functional impact for them. She is energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to share in her patients’ successes. She spends most of her time outside of the clinic with her husband and dog hiking, running, reading, watching movies, and napping!
